The Yin and Yang of Being You

I don’t feel like I’m good enough…And I don’t feel like 🎶 Man I know you know!

Hey probably you are a student like me, you are due for attachment. Probably you have sent out as many emails as you can. You have asked everyone you know for help and there hasn’t been any response. You are tired , exams are looming and everything seems to be going wrong. That paycheck is not enough, you dont know what to do.You are worried , you are stressed, you cant even breathe enough.

I want you to know that you did your part. You went to relevant lectures, wrote assignments or even copy pasta’d them. It doesn’t matter you did your part, maybe you didn’t give it your best shot but you did the work anyway. From this point onwards there really is nothing you can do. No amount of worrying can will companies to respond to you, no regret about that missed lecture can recover whats been lost. Maybe you didn’t give it your best shot but you did it anyway.

Which brings me to the prayer for serenity, it talks about letting go of things we cannot control and doing our very best on the things we can. When you cant do anything about that situation , give it to Jesus. Let go ….
He cares for you, he leaves the 99 to find you. Reckless ? maybe but its love and its perfect. He is all you will ever need.

In my difficult moments I remember Romans 8:28. I know I love God so I know everything will work together. You love him too. Be assured everything will be alright. I mean just think about the birds, the grass , that tree in your yard you have never watered and compare that to you. A whole sentient being, God-like.

Cast your burdens unto Jesus he cares for you deeply.

Prayer for Serenity

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
Amen.
